Events: Free PSA Testing Across Nebraska
Our events exist to do one thing: get more Nebraska men a free PSA test and the peace of mind that comes with early detection. A couple of times a year we bring screening, education, and community spirit together in one place, headlined by our signature Cruisin’ for a Cure car show in Omaha. Every event is free, open to the public, and built around a simple blood test that can save your life.

WHAT TO EXPECT
What to Expect at an NPCA Event
A relaxed, welcoming day, not a clinic. You do not need to be sick, insured, or an expert. You just need to show up. Here is what you will find when you do.
A Free PSA Blood Test
A quick, simple blood draw for men 40 and older. No insurance, no bill, and your results stay private.
Education & Support
Talk with survivors and volunteers who have been there. Plain-language answers, no pressure, and no medical jargon.
Family-Friendly Fun
At Cruisin’ for a Cure, browse hundreds of classic cars and enjoy a welcoming day out for the whole family.
OUR SIGNATURE EVENT
Cruisin’ for a Cure Omaha
Cruisin’ for a Cure Omaha is “the car show that saves men’s lives.” Each year, hundreds of classic cars and community supporters gather for a day of fun, and free PSA blood tests for every man 40 and older who attends.
All net proceeds benefit the Nebraska Prostate Cancer Alliance and free prostate cancer screening across Nebraska. It is the easiest, most enjoyable way we know to get tested.

Event FAQs
Do I need to register or make an appointment for a free PSA test?
No appointment is required. Walk-ins are welcome during screening hours, and you can also sign up early online to save time on the day of the event.
Who can get a free PSA test?
Free PSA blood tests are available to men age 40 and older. If you have a family history of prostate cancer or other risk factors, talk with your doctor about testing earlier.
Is the PSA test really free?
Yes. The Nebraska Prostate Cancer Alliance provides PSA testing at no cost at Cruisin’ for a Cure and community events. No insurance is required, and your results are kept private.
Do I have to own a classic car to come?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free. Come for the free PSA test, browse hundreds of classic cars, and enjoy a family-friendly day that supports men’s health across Nebraska.
