WHO WE ARE

About the Nebraska Prostate Cancer Alliance

We’re a Nebraska-based nonprofit on a simple mission: reduce the impact of prostate cancer through increased public awareness and the promotion of early detection.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate men and their families about the risks of prostate cancer and to provide access to free PSA screenings that support timely diagnosis and treatment. Through community engagement, trusted partnerships, and ongoing outreach, we strive to empower individuals to take proactive steps toward better health outcomes.

Each year we host Cruisin’ for a Cure, a car and motorcycle show built around one life-saving idea, a free PSA blood test for every man over 40 who attends.

A PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test is a simple blood draw and often the first indication of possible prostate cancer. Testing results are always kept private. Our goal is to test as many men as possible.

WHAT WE DO

Three Goals Drive Our Work

01

Raise Awareness

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, and early detection is critical. By combining the draw of a great car show with health outreach, we teach men why regular check-ups and prostate cancer education matter.

02

Provide Free Screenings

We make PSA screening accessible to everyone. Free tests at Cruisin’ for a Cure and community events help detect potential issues early because early detection saves lives.

03

Fund Charitable Causes

Proceeds from Cruisin’ for a Cure, participant donations, and our sponsors support prostate cancer research and education.
